Dashboard

The Dashboard in Kamsa provides an instant snapshot of your workforce and compensation positioning. It brings together key workforce and compensation metrics to help you review market alignment, identify potential pay gaps, and support compensation planning.

Key Features on the Dashboard

Compa-Ratio Snapshot

  • See the overall average compa-ratio for your entire organization.

  • Identify the number of employees below market and the total workforce in Kamsa, along with new hires this year.

What this means:

  • A compa-ratio of 100% means the employee's compensation equals the midpoint of their applicable range.

  • Compa-ratios between 85% and 115% fall within Kamsa's competitive range.

  • A compa-ratio below 85% falls below the competitive range.

Company Department Listing

  • View compa-ratios by department, along with employee counts.

  • Click a department to see the list of employees in that group, including:

  • Compa-ratio

  • Company Job Title

  • Job Level

  • Each department also has a graph icon that opens detailed stats, including:

    • Overall compa-ratio

    • Compa-Ratio by Gender (quick way to spot potential equity issues)

    • Employees below market

Competitive Range Distribution

  • Visualize your workforce distribution within and outside the competitive range.

  • At a glance, identify the percentage of employees:

    • Below 85% of market

    • Within 85–115% (competitive)

    • Above 115%

  • Why this matters: This chart makes it easy to spot if large portions of your workforce are under or over market — guiding equitable pay decisions.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

If something looks off, check for these common data issues:

  • Missing data: For example, missing gender information may affect gender-based reporting.

  • Mismatched data: Unusually high or low Compa-Ratios may indicate that the employee’s Job Match, Job Level, or Market Data Cut should be reviewed.

  • Currency/location mismatches: Confirm that the employee’s currency, Country, and Work Location are accurate.

FAQs

Does Kamsa provide pay analysis by specific demographics, such as gender or race and ethnicity?

Kamsa supports pay analysis by gender, but not by race or ethnicity.

Kamsa's dashboard displays Compa‑Ratio by Gender, which shows pay distribution across gender categories and helps highlight pay gaps.

In addition to gender, the Cost Analysis section in the dashboard can also generate the cost to bring the workforce within market by country, department, job family, job group (technical vs. non-techncial) and job level.

To see a full analysis by gender, make sure the Gender field is populated for all employees.

Contact [email protected] if you'd like an analysis for other demographic categories.
