You can set equity grant guidelines following the steps below.

Note: If you have already entered equity grant guidelines in the Equity page, they will carry over into the Equity Grant Guidelines section of the Comp Review Management page. Review each of the Technical and Non-Technical tabs within this section to ensure the grant guidelines accurately reflect what a new hire would receive. 

To get started with establishing the equity grant guidelines (i.e., for refresh and promotion grants), within the Equity Grant Guidelines section of the Comp Review Management page, click Edit and enter the new hire grant guidelines for the organization. 

  1. In the US (100%) column, enter the baseline new hire grant guidelines (i.e., for U.S. based employees).

  2. Click the Manage Groups button to manage countries you’d like to group together and give them any % discounts against the Group 1 (baseline) guidelines, for both Technical and Non-Technical Positions. 

    • Example 1: if you'd like to establish the equity grant guidelines for UK based employees to be the same as employees in the U.S., drag the “United Kingdom” bubble up to the Group 1 section next to the “United States” bubble.

    • Example 2: If you’d like to establish the Netherlands employees’ equity grant guidelines to be 80% of U.S. guidelines, enter 80% under Group 2.

  3. Click Save Changes
