Below are steps to create a Comp Review Plan:

  1. Go to the Comp Review Planning page, and click Create New Plan

  2. Enter info for the Comp Review, including:

    • Title for your compensation review (e.g., “Mid-Year Comp Review Cycle”)

    • Start Date and End Date

Note: The start date is when you expect leaders who are making pay decisions to start the Comp Review, but Kamsa will not automatically start the review on that date; Admins control the exact date the Comp Review is released later. The end date is the date you’d like all Comp Reviewers to complete the review, but Kamsa will not automatically end the review on that date.

  3. Under the Planned Reviews section, toggle on the type of reviews you’d like to cover under this Comp Review plan - e.g., Salary Review and/or Equity Review

Note: If conducting a combined Salary Review & Equity Review, you can set different eligibility rules for each type of review, but Comp Reviewers (individuals you select to make compensation decisions) will be the same for both, and can view both salary and equity data for employees in their assigned Comp Review Flow.

Create separate Comp Review plans if you’d like to assign different Comp Reviewers for Salary Review vs. Equity Review. You can have more than one Comp Review active at a time.

  4. Select the performance rating scale used in your organization (if applicable).

Note: You can customize the naming of each rating within the Company Profile page.

  5. Click the Create button to finish creating the Comp Review plan and continue to establish your budget, eligibility criteria, and increase guidelines.

You can revisit and edit this section at any point prior to starting the Comp Review.
