Profile Overview

Clicking on an employee’s name anywhere in Kamsa opens their Employee Profile.

  • On the left, you’ll see key details such as:

    • Company department and job title

    • Job Level

    • Date of last compensation review

    • Performance rating

    • Base salary

    • Hire date

    • Employment type and status

    • Location

    • Manager and direct reports

  • Clicking a manager’s name will open that manager’s profile in a new tab.

  • Clicking a direct report shows the employees reporting to them, along with their high-level details.

Editing Employee Information

  • Select Edit Profile to update details such as:

    • Business Title

    • Employment Status

    • Manager

    • Location

    • Market Data Cut

Profile Tiles

  • Kamsa Match: Displays the Department, Job Family, and matched job from Kamsa’s market database. It also shows the Business Title (defaulted from your company’s title).

  • Cash: Displays base salary, target bonus or incentive, and total cash.

  • Market Position: Shows the selected Market Data Cut and market percentile target, along with base salary and total cash compa-ratios.

    • Reminder: Compa-ratio is the employee’s pay divided by the market rate for their matched position.

Additional Information

  • Notes: Add and view notes in both the Current Period tab and the Notes tab.

  • Activity: Tracks any changes made to the employee profile and records which user performed them.

  • Market Compensation tab: Displays the ranges for the employee’s matched job, based on the market percentile and compensation philosophy set in your Company Profile.

    • Shows minimum, midpoint, maximum, and internal average for both Base Salary and Total Cash.
