Promotion Calculation
Go to the Cultivate Your People page and select an Employee.
When you select an employee, their current Business Title, Kamsa Job Match, Job Level, Location and Market Data Cut will display.
Their Kamsa Department and Job Family are automatically selected and will display in the drop down. To select a different department or job family from the full Kamsa database job list, select from the Department or Job Family drop down.
Select the new promotion job match for the employee, typically one job level above their current level.
Select a market data cut, if this is just a promotion, select their current market data cut match.
Kamsa displays the Base Salary and Total Cash for the employee's current position and new potential position, while calculating their current salary's competitiveness against the new market midpoint.
To calculate hypothetical scenarios further, click on Custom and enter new Base Salary or Total Cash amount to see how it impacts their compa-ratio.
Transfer calculation
Go to the Cultivate Your People page and select an Employee.
When an employee is selected, their current Company or Business Title is listed, along with their Kamsa Job Match, Job Level, location and market data cut.
For a transfer scenario, select the employee's current job match (assuming their job match will remain the same), and select the new market data cut to calculate for this scenario.
Kamsa displays and calculates the employee's current salary compared to the market midpoint for the new selected market data cut.
To calculate hypothetical scenarios further, click on Custom and enter new Base Salary or Total Cash amount to see how it impacts their compa-ratio.
